Do you judge books by their covers?
I know that I shouldn't, but honestly, who isn't drawn to those beautiful, well thought out gems of artistic magnificence? And likewise, who isn't repulsed by the dull, overused, gag-worthy covers of other books? I don't know anyone that doesn't, to some extent, judge books by their covers. Let's face it, a pretty cover can go a long way towards selling a book.
My favorite brick and mortar bookstore is Murder by the Book in Houston, TX. Yes, I know that you all are going, "But I thought you lived in Southern California!!" Well, yes, I do, but my mother lives in Texas, and I stopped by MbtB while visiting her, and let me tell you, it is the best bookstore ever! I am a total fangirl for life :D

Hi :) I totally agree that when a book cover is well thought out and uses bold striking colors, it has a better chance of being picked up and read. Hope you enjoy yuor weekend!!
