In My Mailbox (10)

The Story Siren

In My Mailbox is a meme hosted by Kristi @ The Story Siren that I participate in every once in a while (a.k.a., whenever I can remember.) You just post whatever books you've received in the past week, bought or for review, and any cool swag you want to mention.

As usual, links are to GoodReads.
For Review:
The Flash of a Firefly by Amber Riley
The author of FoaF contacted me and asked if I'd like to review her novel, and since it's pretty short and the summary sounded interesting, I agreed. Tons of library books/ARCs that I need to get to first, but I hope I can review this in the near future.

Bought:
Clockwork Angel by Cassandra Clare
Since Cassandra Clare's TMI series was so awesome, fantastic, fabulous, and any other word that means WOW GOOD!!!, I ignored all of the other books I need to read for an entire day while I read this amazing book, and it was even better than TMI. I am so Team Jem, as my review says, and I expect every single one of you to read this book NOW.

Nevermore by Kelly Creagh
I just finished this book a few hours ago, so my review'll go up tomorrow. Suffice to say that it was holly crap good.
Paranormalcy by Kiersten White
My little bro got to this one before me, and he thinks it's great, so I'm looking forward to reading it. Heard a lot about it recently around the Blogosphere. Good stuff, mostly.

Library:
I loved the second book in this series, and am very excited to read this one. Can't think of much to say about my reasoning that isn't spoiler-y, though, so I guess this is all.

I don't actually remember why I put this on hold at the library, but I guess I must have had a reason. This'll probably be one of the last of this batch of library books that I read.

Hush, Hush by Becca Fitzpatrick
I'm actually on a blog tour for the second book in this series, so I need to hurry up and read it before Crescendo  comes. Hurry, self, hurry!

Jekel Loves Hyde by Beth Fantaskey
Hey, who can resist a little JekylxHyde action, even if the former is spelled wrong?

Shadow Hills by Anastasia Hopcus
This is another one that I've heard a lot about, and it seemed interesting enough, so I picked it up. What? I got too many books from the library, you say? No. Not me. Never.

Wow what a great bunch of books. I got some of the same books this week and had to hunt down Nevermore. Borders had no idea where they put there copies and so it was a treasure hunt. Hope you have fun reading them :)

Awesome haul!! I'm looking forwards to Clockwork Angel, and Paranormalcy. And I loved Don't Judge a Girl by her Cover - I'm sure you will too.
